Getting ready

Hey everybody :)

As you may or my not know i leave on 19th june, so i have about 3 weeks left here at home. Which is nice, i have still 2 exams to pass.. :/ anyway, i thought i'd write a quick post about all the stuff i have already got for camp.
Let's see, it may not be as exciting to you but i have my visa, an international student ID card (ISIC), i have my plane ticket, my plan on how to go to camp, and probably a lot more than that... Yeah, i also have a new bank card that will hopefully work in the US :)

Yesterday we had a prepday, it was a lot of fun, we were told lots of useful infos on travelling, camplife, what to pack, what NOT to pack, where to pack what i do pack, what to have with me at the airport unless i want to stay at home, etc. And we heard lots of funny/sad stories about former camp leaders who had to leave camp because of their big mistakes, or who hadn't even had the chance to arrive at camp before they were fired... :S yeah, sucks.

So, now I'm all clever, i know what to do on the plane (thank god my flight goes straight to New York, and there I'll have to spend a night (and CampLeaders pays for it of course) and i'll be met in front of a hostel buy a bus that takes us to camp. I'm not going alone, it's gonna be at least 6-7 of us going to the same camp on the plane, so it's going to be fun, we can all get to know each other a bit before we get to camp.

Okay, i think that's it for now, i just wanted to get this blog going :)
